This line of aid supports associations, foundations, and other non-profit institutions that structure the various sectors that comprise the creative ecosystem. The beneficiaries are non-profit legal entities of Spanish nationality, from any Member State of the European Union or from the signatory states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, that are tax residents in Spain and legally incorporated.
Projects must contribute to one of the following objectives:
a) Promote the promotion and dissemination of cultural content, products, and services, and especially those projects that foster innovation and digital technologies with full respect for intellectual property rights.
b) Increase the professionalization of the cultural and creative sector and its capacity to generate employment by strengthening training, especially those projects or activities that serve to improve gender equality in the creative and cultural sector.
c) Promote the structuring, revitalization, and internationalization of the cultural and creative sector, especially when it serves to enhance Spain’s image as a cultural power.
d) Promote the defense of intellectual property, the right of access to culture, the sustainability of the Creative and Cultural Sector, and the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals.
e) Stimulate private sector participation in the financing of cultural projects and encourage cultural patronage, as well as the promotion of synergies and alliances with other public and/or private cultural operators to structure the creative and cultural sectors and a balanced cultural offering throughout Spain.
This call for proposals includes a evaluation criterion that allows projects from institutions based in municipalities affected by the DANA to receive 5 additional points.
Furthermore, the system for awarding and distributing aid, which may not exceed a maximum of €50,000 per project and was implemented for the first time in the previous call, remains in place.
Applications must be submitted through the Ministry of Culture’s website within the established deadline, between February 26 and March 18, 2025.
