The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV) is opening its doors to new talent for its 38th edition, which will be held from September 16 to 20, 2026. Until March 31, artists and musical projects of all styles (except classical) can submit their proposals to be part of this festival and professional market that combines live music, business opportunities, and international visibility.

The Vic Live Music Market (MMVV) has opened the call for artistic proposals for its  38th edition , which will be held from  September 16 to 20, 2026  in Vic. Applications can be submitted  until March 31  through the event’s official website.

The MMVV will maintain its dual format as a  professional market and a festival open to the public , with two programming lines:  MMVV Pro Catalan Arts , aimed at industry professionals and focused on premieres and new projects, and  MMVV Festival , geared towards the public and distributed across different spaces in the city.

The artistic direction will select proposals based on criteria such as  artistic identity, creative risk, track record, technical feasibility, and potential for wider exposure . The call for submissions is open to all musical genres except classical music. With this edition, the MMVV reinforces its role as a platform for promoting emerging talent and connecting artists and professionals at the national and international levels.
