The Andalusian Regional Government awards €2 million in grants for performing arts and music projects to 74 projects.

The Andalusian Ministry of Culture and Sport, through the Andalusian Agency for Cultural Institutions, has approved €2 million in grants for 2025, which will benefit 74 theater, music, dance, circus, and other performing arts initiatives.

The approved funding represents a 37% increase compared to the previous call (which amounted to €1.46 million), making it the highest amount ever allocated to the sector. Thanks to this increase, more than 50% of the projects submitted in the call opened on January 2 in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Regional Government will now receive support.

The scope of the grants is distributed across various lines: production and touring of theater, music, dance, and circus shows, as well as specific grants for private venues and festivals. The boost is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, which is also working to expand the Andalusian Network of Public Theaters and on internationalization and artistic training programs.
