Barcelona will host this professional gathering with an intense program focused on five panel discussions addressing topics such as censorship and gender bias on digital platforms, the mental health of women and dissidents in a precarious sector, emerging leadership in an unequal context, ancestral knowledge as cultural resistance, and transformation through music creation and management. Additionally, specialized workshops will be offered on copyright with a gender perspective (SGAE), artificial intelligence and gender (DigitalFems), and the prevention of sexual harassment. Spaces will also be provided for pitching, showcases, and networking with professionals from Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Spain.
With a track record of nearly ten years positioning itself as a key organization in the defense of women’s and dissident rights in the cultural sector, MIM consolidates its role as a benchmark in equality and innovation in this second edition. INSPIRA also aims to serve as a platform for cultural and professional exchange that promotes new narratives, access to technological and economic resources, and the repositioning of feminist voices in leadership roles within the Ibero-American music industry.
